ELIGIBILITY

High school grade11 students are accepted as New BuildHER Scholars. High school grades12 students are accepted as Returning BuildHER Scholars.

PROGRAM SIZE

24 students maximum each Fall and Spring semester.

​

 

 

TIME COMMITMENT

Each session consists of an instructional workshop, taking place a full class day, one day per month. Rising seniors will have the option to participate in an additional Summer Session.

​

 

 

LOCATION

Most workshops will be held at the high school. Some curriculum topics require more exploration to various locations, which are coordinated with the school in advance.

​

 

 

CURRICULUM

Students receive introductory lessons on relevant architectural topics throughout the academic year, while also focusing on a small team-based design project.
